Ian Parry Scholarship 2009

Touch Digital have sponsored this years Ian Parry Scholarship competition.

Ian Parry was a photojournalist who died whilst on assignment for The Sunday Times during the Romanian revolution in 1989. He was just 24 years old. The scholarship was set up by his friends and family in order to build something positive from such a tragic death.
Each year we hold a competition for photographers who are either attending a full-time photography course or are under the age of 24. Entrants must submit a portfolio of their work and a brief synopsis of a project they would undertake if they won the scholarship.

The exhibition opens on the 5th August at the Getty Images Gallery, London. Winning images will also be published in the Sunday Times Magazine on the 3rd August.

We are printing all winning images for the exhibition.
